Fleet Flo (operated by Amatista LLC) is a vehicle-rental management platform used by rental operators. Through Fleet Flo, an operator sends transactional SMS only to its own rental customers (renters) — there is no marketing or promotional texting. This page documents exactly how each renter consents to receive those messages, so the opt-in can be reviewed and verified. Account holders (operators) may also separately opt in to account-notification SMS about their own subscription — that opt-in is documented below as well.
Consent is collected in person, at the point of rental — not through a public web form. The flow is:
This is the verbatim consent control an operator sees in Fleet Flo when collecting a renter’s SMS consent. It is shown here exactly as it first appears: unchecked. The operator must actively check it — it is never pre-selected, and SMS is never sent unless it is checked:
Default state: unchecked. No pre-selection. Consent is voluntary and is never a condition of renting a vehicle.
Separately from the renter messages above, the person who creates a Fleet Flo account (the rental operator) may optionally choose to receive account-notification SMS about their own subscription — trial reminders, payment issues, and important account updates. This opt-in lives on the account signup form as a distinct checkbox that is unchecked by default and is never required to create an account. This is the verbatim control, shown unchecked:
Default state: unchecked. The account holder must actively check it and enter their own mobile number; it is never pre-selected and is never a condition of signing up.
Every message is transactional. Renter messages are triggered by the renter’s own rental account activity:

Message frequency varies with account activity (for example, when a payment is due). Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this program, and consent to SMS is never a condition of any rental or of creating an account.
Any recipient (renter or operator) can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; they will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. Replying HELP returns the program name, rate notice, and support contact. Full program details are in our SMS Terms.
